A family vineyard handed to its youngest generation. We designed labels that respect four decades of winemaking while making it very clear something new is happening.

The brief

Casa Rubra’s wines had won awards for years, but its labels still looked like 1985. The new owners wanted to reach younger drinkers without alienating the restaurants that had stocked them for decades.

What we made

A deep red label with a monogram drawn from the original family seal, tilted slightly off-axis on every bottle. Small, but enough to make people look twice on the shelf.

“Our grandparents would recognise the bottle. Our friends finally want to post it.” — Tomás Rubra, Winemaker
