A city-wide design festival with almost no budget for photography. We built the entire identity from typography and a single vermilion, printed on everything from posters to wristbands.

The brief

Open Hours opens studios, galleries and workshops across Lisbon for four days every spring. They needed an identity that could flex across 120 venues and still feel like one festival.

What we made

A modular type system where every venue gets its own poster generated from a shared grid. The result reads like a family of posters on the street and a single campaign online.

“The posters became collectibles. People were taking them off the walls on day two.” — Inês Duarte, Director, Open Hours Festival
